Site Supervisor / Site Manager - Projects to $4m

A market leading Tier 2 contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking an experienced Site Supervisor or Site Manager to join their growing business.

Will be running projects of a refurbishment or new build nature from smaller up to $4m in the defence sector. Projects in the business are generally Industrial, Defence or Commercial in nature, experience with similar projects in these sectors will be an advantage.

Ideal the candidate will have previous experience delivering Defence / Commercial / Industrial projects across new build, refurbishments, repairs, remediation, demolition, upgrades, HVAC etc. on buildings and some civil works.
  
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Site Management of defence projects from set up to completion
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ requirements
• Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
• Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
• Project progress reporting to the Project Management
• Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
• Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Minimum 5 -10 years’ experience in similar role
• Cert IV in OHS is favourable
• Proven management experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite
• Construction Safety Induction (white) card
• Current Driver Licence
• Ability to obtain Police Clearance
• Ability to obtain Defence Clearance
