Statutory Electrical Engineer

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineer with a passion for safety, compliance, and continuous improvement? We’re on the lookout for a driven professional to join my clients high-performing team at their Open Cut operations.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working Monday to Friday, offering an attractive remuneration package with performance-based bonuses. Relocation assistance available for the right candidate.

Your Role As our Statutory Electrical Engineer, you’ll be responsible for:

• Ensuring compliance with legislative and statutory requirements within the Open Cut operations.
• Driving continuous improvement in electrical standards and site performance
• Leading incident investigations and project management initiatives
• Championing a strong safety culture and reinforcing our company values
• Collaborating with site teams to achieve operational targets

What is required: 

• Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering
• A valid Electrical Engineer Practicing Certificate under NSW mining and petroleum regulations
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• A self-motivated, results-driven mindset with excellent communication skills
• Strong teamwork, process control, and coordination abilities
• A commitment to safety, high performance, and a positive workplace culture
