Senior Estimator - Façades

Great opportunity working on complex specialist building facade packages across predominantly Commercial sectors.
  
A market leading contractor with a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects, our client is now seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join their growing façade business unit in Sydney NSW.
  
You will be responsible for quantity surveying and materials take-offs to allow pricing on preliminary design information including prepare and present bid information as part of review and tender presentations.
  
You will be working across new build facade projects across predominantly the commercial sector from smaller up to $30m. Experience with similar projects across facades will be an advantage.
  
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Assemble scope of works and request for tender documentation
• Conduct site visits (remote and interstate sites)
• Conduct commercial, risk and profitability reviews
• Provide detailed tender handover documentation
• Create pricing models

  
Qualifications and Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or similar
• Minimum 5 to 10 years+ experience in a similar role
• Experience in Bid Management and preparation of tender documentation
• Understanding of Risk Management
• A strong commercial acumen
• Ability to work part of a team as well as autonomously
• High level of organisation and time management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Well-developed interpersonal skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite & MS Project
