HD Maintenance Technician - Mobile Equipment

Our client is a top tier mining house with both open pit and underground operations worldwide across a variety of commodities. In this position you will be responsible for planned and reactive maintenance of their Mobile Mining Equipment within their Coal Operations 2hrs North West of Newcastle, NSW.  

Responsibilities: 

• Carry out work as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor
• Effectively enter maintenance times and work order data into SAP
• Consistently provide completed service sheets, work orders & accurate parts requests to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Determine or assist in determining root cause of all equipment breakdowns, failures, delays and process incidents
• Issue and/or hold any required hazardous work permits and project isolation.

To be considered for this position you must have the following: 

• Trade qualifications.
• Mech – Cert III in Mobile Plant Technology or Cert III in Mechanical Engineering or Elec – Electrical trade qualification
• Coal Board Medical.
• Must have experience with either Heavy Civil or Mining Equipment.
• The ability to relocate (relocation assistance provided) 

Package:

• $160,000 - $180,000
• $6,000 Site Allowance 
  
• Relocation Assistance 
• Temp accommodation or $3K in rental reimbursement
