Demolition Supervisor - FIFO

Work with a well-established and reputable civil contractor on a large-scale demolition project. Other sectors are earthwork, excavation, piling, retention, foundations etc.

Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for an experienced and dedicated Demolition Supervisor to join their growing business in the Hunter Region.
  
Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as commercial buildings, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of challenging projects.
  
Types of projects include demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc. Typical values from $2.5m to $15m however some projects are $50m+. Projects will be greenfield and brownfield projects and will be tier 1 projects.
  
You must have an unrestricted demolition licence
  
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Ensuring OH&S procedures are followed
• Assisting in the programming of works
• Management of site project teams
• Preparation of reports
• Resolving site issues in a timely manner
• Liaising with key clients and stakeholders

  
Qualifications and Requirements:

• 5 to 15+ years’ experience in the similar role
• Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
• Effective problem solving abilities
• Ability to resolve conflict and manage client expectations
• High level of organisation and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
