Courseware Developer - Rail Signalling

• Looking for a Learning Delivery Advisor to develop courseware for an initial 3 month period in the Rail Signalling sector

Candidate will ideally have practical rail signalling experience and be able to design and develop courseware for the business in this space.
  
Our client is an established and leading global rail engineering firm delivering turnkey rail system solutions including design, construction, wiring, testing & commissioning, signalling & system works, cable routes, civil and track works, safety assurance & audits and provide nationally accredited training.
  
The team has skills across various rail disciplines including Signalling, Track, Civil, Systems Assurance and Competence Management.
  
They are now seeking an experienced Courseware Developer to join their growing business reporting into the RTO Manager.
  
The role involves designing course materials for the Certificate IV in Rail Signalling, including assessments, marking guides, and reference resources that meet compliance standards. It’s all about creating interactive, engaging content and working closely with academics and subject experts to shape the course’s design. A key focus is making sure learning outcomes, assessments, and teaching activities are clearly aligned to support effective learning. Using design thinking principles, the role also requires developing and maintaining content with various authoring tools and technologies.
  
Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Prepare and deliver training programs for the Certificate IV in rail Signaling- in accordance with relevant and approved capability and competency frameworks, relevant legislative, regulatory or enterprise requirements.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts and instructional designers to create interactive and engaging course materials.
• Implement and maintain courseware quality assurance processes
• Design and implement assessments to measure student learning progress.
• Manage project timelines and ensure that course materials are delivered on time and within scope.

  
Qualifications and Requirements:

• Training Delivery experience
• Experience in courseware design/development
• Certificate IV TAE or higher
• Rail Experience in Signalling
