Project Manager - Height Access Projects

  • Established multi-sector and multi-disciplinary remedial and construction firm
  • Multi state operation, height access projects on Grade A commercial buildings
  • Managing 8-10 people over multiple concurrent projects
Previous experience with Height Access is required.

Our client is an established player in the remedial and construction industry who are known for their high-quality building practices. They are now seeking a Project Manager – Height Access to join their team, responsible for estimation, project/site management and certification of projects across Victoria. Some exposure to business development and sales would also be good.
  
Height access includes anchor points, ladders, walkways, guardrails, davit and needles, HVAC platforms, roof access hatches, modular access etc.
  
Reporting to the Director
  
Years of Experience:
5 years +

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Estimation of projects
  • Site Management
  • Liaise with stakeholders
  • Maintain & improve profitability
  • Manage OHS&E and IMS (Integrated Management System) compliance
  • Assist with development of business plans and budgets
  • Conduct regular sales meetings
  • Oversee project completion in accordance to contract and budget
  • Manage staff and sub-contractors on site
  • May be required to assist with tenders or larger project
  • Assist with resourcing when required
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Minimum of 5 years + experience in a similar role
  • Exposure to high-risk work environments, including but not limited to, access, mechanical and material handling, rope access etc.
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Superior sales and negotiating skills
  • Strong business / commercial background
  • Excellent communication skills both written & verbal and interpersonal skills
  • A Team player, willing to support and assist other Senior staff/team members
  • You will be organised, highly motivated and have a positive approach and attitude toward your work
