Known as one of the leading firms in the delivery of projects, this is a great opportunity to join a forward thinking, professional and dynamic project management and advisory consultancy. They are looking for an enthusiastic Site / Project Engineer to join their innovative and client focused team. The role you will be working as will be a client side Assistant Project Manager or Project Manager.

You will be working for a renowned infrastructure client, overseeing various stages throughout the full project life cycle. Experience delivering Solar panel projects on either roof projects (ideal) or solar farms is essential.

Candidates can have experience working on the client side, consulting engineering, head contractor or subcontractor side. They will have experience overseeing solar installation and commissioning of solar farms/rooftop projects, services integration, live environments, connecting to the distribution and network, liaising with electrical suppliers etc.

The candidate will need to have excellent stakeholder management and be proactive and passionate about the work they deliver.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Client management and consultation
• Engagement, management and recruitment of teams
• Project Planning/Feasibility studies
• Risk Management
• Value Engineering
• Design Management and Value Engineering
• Procurement of construction services
• Cost control and cost reporting and superintendent
• Delivery of construction services
• Commissioning and post contract duties for handover

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or similar
• 2 to 5 years experience working ideally within the solar renewables space
• Leadership skills
• Strategic thinker who is able to see the bigger picture
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous client-side project management experience
