Project Manager - Client Side - Road Infrastructure

• Play a pivotal role in delivering critical infrastructure for Renewable Energy projects
• Lead delivery of complex brownfields road infrastructure projects $10m to $40m including bridges and intersections

Lead the successful planning, execution, and delivery of road infrastructure enabling efficient infrastructure connection to Renewable Energy projects.

Our Client is seeking a Project Manager for the delivery of a renewable energy projects. This role is instrumental in enabling timely delivery of the project through infrastructure development in collaboration with the client and other partners.

The successful candidate will manage the end-to-end delivery of road works and associated packages, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, achieving timely outcomes, and managing budgets effectively. You will engage directly with key stakeholders including the client, contractors, and internal teams to oversee procurement, technical inputs, and approvals.

This is a fantastic opportunity to lead one of NSW’s landmark infrastructure renewable projects.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Assist in the design development and review process alongside the team Lead and the client
• Represent our clients’ interests with external stakeholders to ensure timely, cost-effective outcomes
• Procure and manage advisors, contractors, and suppliers for works and investigations
• Manage utility impacts and relocations in accordance with project timelines
• Contribute to technical inputs for planning approval documentation
• Adhere to governance, reporting, and risk protocols

Qualifications and Requirements:
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in infrastructure project delivery
• Experience delivering State/regional road projects valued >$10M (essential)
• Exposure to projects >$40M including roads, bridges, and intersections (desirable)
• Understanding of NSW transmission systems and renewable energy development
• Familiarity with complex brownfield infrastructure challenges
• Experience managing planning approvals and contract delivery
• Background in government or regulated environments
• Tertiary qualifications in engineering, project management, or a related field
• Certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 (desirable)
• Exceptional leadership, risk management, and stakeholder engagement skills
• Strong written and verbal communication capabilities
