Known as one of the leading firms in the delivery of projects, this is a great opportunity to join a forward thinking, professional and dynamic project management and advisory consultancy. They are looking for an enthusiastic Project Engineer / Project Manager to join their innovative and client focussed team. Candidate could even be an entry level Senior Project Manager as well.

Reporting to an Associate Director, you will be managing circa 6-8 projects concurrently, ranging in value from $500k up to $10m+ all in various stages throughout the full project life cycle. Experience delivering civil and inground services/utilities – gas, electrical, water etc is required.

The ideal candidate will come from a civil contractor background ideally having experience working on the client side as well but not essential. They will also need to have excellent stakeholder management and be proactive and passionate about the work they deliver.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Client management and consultation
• Engagement, management and recruitment of teams
• Project Planning/Feasibility studies
• Risk Management
• Value Engineering
• Design Management and Value Engineering
• Procurement of construction services
• Cost control and cost reporting and superintendent
• Delivery of construction services
• Commissioning and post contract duties for handover

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management or similar
• 5 - 10 plus years’ experience of end-to-end project management on building projects
• Leadership skills
• Strategic thinker who is able to see the bigger picture
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Previous client-side project management experience
