Great opportunity to work with a well-established and reputable civil contractor on projects such as earthworks, demolition, excavation, piling, retention, foundations etc.

Our client is a well-established and market leading civil contractor, they are looking for a Project Administrator / Contracts Administrator to join their growing business.
  
Our client provides their services across a number of industry sectors such as building construction, industrial, mining and resources, transport infrastructure, environmental etc. and you will be responsible for contributing to the successful delivery of a number of challenging projects.
  
Types of projects include build earthworks, demolition, excavation, retention, piling, foundations, ground improvement, soft and hard landscaping, site remediation and rehabilitation etc. Typical values from $2.5m to $25m but can go up to $50m+.
  
This role is for a project which will be based on site at the Fraser Coast area.
  
The role will help with the compilation of weekly claims, vetting subcontractor claims and general contract administration and assisting the Project Manager on the job. Will need to be organised and have good commercial acumen.
  
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Mostly will be general admin duties as required
• Proficient use of excel
• Support managing subcontract mechanisms
• Support conduct status reporting, project reports, risk and program reporting
• Assist with Forecasting
• Manage the document control process
• Liaising with all stakeholders
• Support when needed with compliance with management system policies, plans, procedures and regulatory requirements

  
Qualifications and Requirements:

• Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similar
• 2 to 4+ years’ management experience on civil construction projects.
• Proven understanding of construction with a hands-on approach
• Proven ability to effectively lead and delegate
• Effective problem solving abilities
• High level of organisation and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
