Great opportunity working on remedial projects across Industrial, Commercial, and residential sectors. Will be running multiple concurrent projects.

We are looking for an experienced Estimator to price our remedial projects and join a dedicated team that has consistently achieved success and experienced significant growth. You’ll be joining a business with an attractive pipeline and a trusted contractor in the industry.

You will be pricing remedial projects from smaller up to $35m+ and be responsible for quantity surveying, materials take-offs and design to allow pricing on preliminary design information including prepare and present bid information as part of review and tender presentations.

They work across remediation type projects generally across Industrial, commercial, and residential, having similar experience with remedial projects in these sectors or similar across buildings will be an advantage.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:
  • Preparation and submission of tenders
  • Evaluate / review tender and estimating process for cost effectiveness
  • Tender negotiations
  • Coordinate tender handover to project team
  • Prepare budgets based on tender submission
  • Assess and price contract variation orders
  • Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants
  
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or similar
  • Minimum 5 to 10 years experience in a similar role
  • Experience in Bid Management and preparation of tender documentation
  • Understanding of Risk Management
  • Experience in the remediation sector is highly beneficial
  • A strong commercial acumen
  • Ability to work part of a team as well as autonomously
  • High level of organisation and time management skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite & MS Project
